Warehouse Operative - Immediate Start

position description

Purpose of the role:

Maintain high level of stock accuracy and schedule adherence to line.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving all goods in to factory, booking them in, unpacking and storing them away

Issuing all components and indirect material, whilst updating the stock control system

To maintain a high standard of inventory control by keeping accurate stock records and ensuring the stores is kept secure at all times.

Advise Production and Material Scheduler of any stock outs or sudden fluctuations in stock.

The loading and unloading of vehicles, the movement of goods around the factory.

Packing of goods to be dispatched (production & non production items)

To assist in the training of other material controllers on processes and equipment for which he/she is capable.

To ensure all H S & E requirements are adhered to and carry out Manual Handling, and complete FLM on material movement equipment.

To contribute to the achievement of the overall Supplies Module targets and MOP's

Working on a rotating 3 shift pattern of 8 hour shifts including nights, afternoons and mornings
