Trainee Accounts Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client who specialise in injection moulding. They are looking for bright and enthusiastic candidates who want to make an immediate impact to the business. The Trainee Account Executive role is a stepping stone for those who want to develop a career in Technical Sales and/or Customer Account Management. This role provides learning and experience in both New Sales Costing and Customer Relationship Management.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements are:

• New Sales Costing
• Learning how to build up Component and Assembly costs.
• Working with Production and Quality teams to understand the manufacturing process.
• Developing Project Management Skills to expedite the costing process.
• To assist in the official project handover from customer Purchase Order to the New Product Introduction team.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Learning how to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers at all levels.
• Work closely with the Production and Planning teams to identify potential delays or problems with customer deliveries.
• Liaise with customers to prioritise production schedules.
• Ideally Hold a degree qualification

Training will provide on the job training to ensure you have a full set of skills and that you are able to engage confidently with the Internal Teams and Key Customer base. Our aim is that you gain both technical and commercial knowledge, whilst developing project and customer management skills. As you develop, you will be given more responsibility and eventually you will be expected to take on more responsibility in managing New Sales Enquiries and Customer Accounts providing you with challenging and rewarding development opportunities and career progression.
