Production Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career. They require a Production Engineer, with a high level of experience with mechanical and electrical systems to work on their site/plant equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for managing all Mechanical/Electrical recovery work carried out on serviceable equipment; writing routings, creating and maintaining a Job File that will contain related vendor information, bills of material, part drawings and quality information.

We are looking for a Production Engineer who ideally has the following skills:

• Ideally will have Degree/HND in Mechanical or Production Engineering, or served an Engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience in Mechanical/Electrical assembly, machining processes and welding procedures would be an advantage.
• Experience working with SAP routing systems would be an advantage
• An experience of Design packages such as CAD would be advantageous however training will be provided for the successful candidate.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
