Maintenance Engineer

Omega Resource Group's global automotive client are looking to add a talented Maintenance Engineer to their manufacturing team in Swindon. Your main responsibility within the position will be to ensure the site's facilities are safe and available - reporting into the Facilities Manager.

Main Duties:

• PPM checks in order to log activity
• Breakdown maintenance, in a reactive manner to ensure correct operating order is achieved as quickly as possible
• Completing start up and shut down checks
• Checking permits, as well as liaising with external contractors
• Following up on improvement activity

The ideal candidate will be able to display the following:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or similar (MUST)
• Fault finding experience on facilities equipment
• Maintenance Management Systems working experience
• Comfortable with working at heights
• 17th edition electrical certificate

In order to be eligible for this role, you must hold a full driving licence.

You must have a flexible approach to working, as the role's working hours operate on a 4 on 4 off rotating nights & days, with 12 hour shifts - with an opportunity to work overtime when required.
