Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Swindon

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000

This role is on a rotating shift pattern

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful engineering manufacturer that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their company. They require a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Swindon

Key skills

• Experience of leading a team
• Broad knowledge of technical disciplines in Mechanical & Electrical
• PLC Knowledge (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron and Siemens
• Robot & Welding systems including MIG and resistance welding
• Complex Pneumatic systems

Experience

• Apprenticeship time served engineering background, preferably multi-disciplined
• Plant maintenance contract / service scheduling & control
• Project management for improvement
• Providing technical support
• Control documentation
• Absence/ holiday organisation
• Parts control and procurement
• Maintenance know how from within a manufacturing background
