My client is a national award-winning fleet management company who provide vehicle maintenance and accident management services to some of the country's most recognisable businesses.

Due to continuous growth and development, my client requires a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Crawley and the surrounding areas. The Mobile Vehicle Technician will undertake service maintenance duties for a specified geographic that may change from time to time and at locations agreed by the customer.

The Mobile Vehicle Technician will play a pivotal role in delivering a positive customer experience at all times.

Requirements

• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles or equivalent
• Must have strong service & repair experience
• Proficient fault finding / diagnostic skills
• Computer literate and able to operate Windows based programs
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels
• Good customer facing skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively and work within tight deadlines
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to work safely unsupervised and use own initiative

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site and mobile service and remedial work support for Customer vehicles and equipment
• Utilise feedback to improve future repair and diagnostic activities
• To help develop customer service standards, policies and procedures
• To provide service from time to time, outside normal working hours
• Carry out other duties which may or may not be related to the job, as reasonably requested by management
• Complete the necessary documentation associated with work completed
• Keep company provided equipment in good serviceable condition
• Always adhere to strict Health, Safety & Environmental Policies / Regulations when performing work
• Work flexibly to cover workload
