£20,000 - £22,000 + bonus (realistic earning potential up to £27,000pa)

For more than 60 years, my client has been at the forefront of the fabrication industry, providing machine tools that set the standard for performance and reliability. My client is now an international market leading manufacturer, providing a complete solution of machines, tools, software, service, parts and finance for their customers.

My client's Midlands based Technical Centre is specifically designed for machinery demonstrations, showcasing the latest technology in lasers, punches, press brakes, tooling, automation and CADCAM software. Due to the continuous growth of the company they require fresh talent to join their service team to be based out of the West Midlands

My client seeks an ambitious, personable and committed individual with a minimum of a HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic or Manufacturing engineering. You will be customer facing and be required to represent the company in a field based role. All necessary training will be provided along with a company car.

Job Purpose

• Installation of equipment at customers' sites in the UK
• Training customer in operation, maintenance and safety aspects
• Regular routine service of machines and associated equipment
• Diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns
• Promote tooling sales and sales of maintenance contracts
• Promote sales of machine tools and associated equipment

Key Requirements

• A suitable engineering qualification
• Understanding of electrical/electronic/hydraulic and mechanical drawings and systems
• Maintenance or service background would be preferable
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Smart and professional presentation
• Ability to work alone and under pressure
• Ability to communicate in all situations at all levels of an organisation
