Profile

LEAD: An established and award winning continuous improvement training company, require an experienced manager to take on the role of a Continuous Improvement Coach. Working on an onsite project basis, you will support training in Business Improvement Techniques, working with learners to implement new lean initiatives to continually improve business processes and standardise best practices for your business operations.

Job Role

To be a LEAD coach you must have lived and breathed lean methodology and continuous improvement techniques throughout your working career. You will need to be able to demonstrate why and how LEAN processes can and should be used. The right candidate will be self-reliant and a confident public speaker who will be able to present to small and large numbers of people.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the following areas;

  • LEAN - Continuous Improvement within any environment.
  • You will have an advanced working knowledge of lean processes such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, 7 Wastes, Kanban, Kaizen, Muda, TPS etc.
  • Qualifications in the relevant disciplines are highly desired but not essential as they do provide training.

Duties

Projects will involve a personal approach to assess and identify areas of improvement.

Working within your region, you will develop alongside a number of clients, methods to improve current processes.

You will engage learners in work based improvement projects to demonstrate the effectiveness of lean tools and techniques and give them direct experience in making business improvements.

This will include coaching and advising learners in various initiatives including Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, SMED, TPM, 7 Wastes, TPS or other continuous improvement initiatives.

Ultimately you will up skill the workforce so they can continue to improve in the future.
