As an experienced Quality Engineer, you will be able to work to high standards with an ability to identify and solve quality issues, ideally with a background in the aerospace sector.

As a Quality Engineer you will be involved in the following tasks:

• verifies and demonstrates that the Quality approval requirements are being met
• Plan and carry out a schedule of audits and assessments with completion of associated documentation.
• Ensure all activities are in accordance with the BMS Manage completion and effectiveness Corrective and Preventative measures
• Provide an independent monitoring function for compliance with airworthiness and customer requirements
• Support of any investigations arising from Quality issues through to their documented conclusion
• Undertake and support root cause analysis and solutions to prevent failure re-occurrence
• Ensuring Quality measures with associated targets are maintained for QA Compliance
• Support of external Quality audits, assessments and visits by customers and authorities
• Ensuring that improvements identified from the compliance activities are fed-back into the BMS
• Regular shop floor checks, reported and any associated issues are effectively resolved
• Timely responses and resolution of quality issues identified
• Provide training in Compliance requirements as necessary
• Assist with the maintenance of company approvals e.g. EASA, FAR, ISO, etc.
• Assist with the generation of Quality Plans and proposals

A background with knowledge or experience in the follows Quality areas would be beneficial for this position.

o Aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100, EASA Part 21, Part 145 etc)

o Other aerospace topics e.g. FOD, counterfeit avoidance etc.

o First Article / Parts Approval reporting methods (E.g. AS9102, PPAP etc.)

o Process Measurement techniques (e.g. SPC, KPIs, etc .)

o Quality Management System and Process Mapping Software
