Job Role: Materials Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Release and reserve shop order in line with MRP
• Place/Expedite/Conform purchase orders in line with MRP
• Ensure that all pricing and lead time data is kept up to date with most recent agreed supplier data
• Work closely with commodity manager to take opportunity to consolidate the supply chain utilising alliance and strategic suppliers.
• Monitor material availability and release pick lists to stores in line with MRP and material availability

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience working within a Technical/Manufacturing organisation
