Shot Blasting Operative for SHB Hire Ltd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Shot Blaster to work on a permanent basis for our client, a market leading national vehicle fleet management company.
This position will be based at their Gloucester depot.

Duties

You will be part of the fleet Truck refurbishment team and you will be carrying out the task of shot blasting Truck tipper bodies, chassis, and wheels as required in preparation for painting and general refurbishment.

Essential Skills

• To be physically fit and to be a self-starter
• To be able to follow specific instructions
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrate a desire for self-improvement and enthusiasm to learn new skills including attending training courses both in house and external

Additional details

• Full Training will be given to suitable applicants
• Well-equipped body shop
• 40 hr week basic
• Company pension scheme
• Full PPE provided
• Shift: Days only
• No call outs
• Sat mornings 0600/ noon week about mandatory or every weekend if desired
