Manufacturing Estimator

They require an Estimator to price new jobs.

The candidate will be responsible for producing quotations on estimates for new work coming through the machine shop.

We are looking for an Estimator who ideally has the following skills:

• Experience of estimating within a precision engineering environment would be advantageous
• Must have a good knowledge of precision engineering processes within a machine shop.
• The Estimator will work with the Sales team to nurture new business, quote for work in a timely and competitive manner.
• Job Costing.
• To act as the primary contact for customers when placing sales enquiries
• Understand machining cycles and manage lead times.

Must have knowledge of CNC Machining

• Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
