FINAL INSPECTOR - PERMANENT - CHELTENHAM

Role: Final Inspector

Location: Cheltenham

Basis: Permanent

Job Purpose

This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Final Inspector to join a thriving company where you will be working with high value aerospace products: You will be tasked with the inspection and verification of new build products and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• To inspect & verify new build products
• To inspect & verify repaired products
• To create individual "work packs" to customer requirements.
• To carry out FAI measurements of completed products & FAIR's using Visual FAIR as required
• To carry out FAI measurements & verification of supplier FAIR's using Visual FAIR as required
• Carry out dimensional checks using measuring tools including CMM
• Manage non-conforming parts
• Identify problems/issues and recommend solutions

Background and Understanding

• Thorough knowledge of continuous improvement methods;
• Industry specific experience; or
• Formal engineering qualification (NVQ/C&G/ONC etc.);
• Already have, or willing to undergo BPSS security checks
