CELL SUPPORT ENGINEER - Electronic

Role: Cell Support Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire

This is an exciting and new position within the business that will require someone with strong fault finding and root cause analysis backgorund.

You will be tasked with supporting a number of technical product lines and ensuring that all test, build and production activites and issues that arise during these activities are resolved.

This is a technical role that would suit someone who enjoys problem solving related to complex technology and manufacturing.

Duties

• To support the Implementation of New Products into production.
• To be the first point of contact for the operators & Technicians
• Provide solutions to issues in the build, inspection and test of new build products.
• Review & update Manufacturing Instructions & Route cards
• Responsibility for maintenance and calibration of all test equipment
• To manage & undertake PAT testing of equipment
• Provide training and development to wider production team
• Work with cell leaders to define and implement lean tooling solutions.
• Act as the designated Product link to quality, manufacturing and engineering

Background

• HNC Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Dianositc and Fault finding experience
• Assembly and Production Background
• Experience with Continuos improvement methods
