PCB Assembler

Our client, a family run business within the bespoke Engineering sector based in Dursley have an amazing new opportunity for an Assembler to join their small engineering, assembly and test lab team.

You will be assembling bespoke products in a product-based environment. You will be apart of a small team of dedicated individuals working in a comfortable environment.

They need someone who will be able to hit the road running and grow within their role.

Your main responsibilities:

• Through hole & SMT Component soldering to IPC610 class 3 standards
• Basic wiring & crimping skills
• wiring to IPC620 class 3 standard
• SMT rework to include track cutting & component removal
• To carry out basic mechanical assembly

Qualifications & skills:

You will be required to be a good all-round individual with an interest in Electrical and Electronic Engineering along with:

• GCSE Mathematics, English and Science grades A-C
• An understanding of PCB Layout
• Experience in systems manufacturing will be beneficial but not necessary
• Working closely with other departments within the company and supporting them in a multitude of disciplines
• An organised mind in terms of work processes and time management
• A practical aptitude and conscientious approach to problems solving and work scheduling
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
• Solid skill base including hand soldering
• 2 years experience

Hours of work will be:
Mon - Thurs 08:30 - 17:00 & Friday 08:30 - 15:45
