My client is now seeking to recruit full time receptionist to work in busy reception in engineering company in Watford. The appropriate candidate will be working Monday to Friday 40 hour week initially on a 6 month contract with view to be extended.
Responsibilities:
On customer arrival confirm and record current mileage, customer contact details, Confirm customer requirements including add ons
Record parking bay number and log job on Tech tool if required order any known parts
Check the overnight notes and action jobs
Print the job cards for 2 working days in advance
Carry out check for any outstanding warranty campaigns
Carry out check for any requirements i.e. service kit (tech tool), oil spec, warranty task lines and general parts etc.
Check next day bookings for any additional jobs booked and pre call all customers. Text the customers as a backup later record the time of call made
Carry out 10:30 am check for any no shows, contact Hubs or client to advice of any.
At midday 12.00 start preparing 2PM customer updates
Check for parts deliveries of any pre order parts and if required contact customer to rebook
On arrival of parts verify GRN on TechTool and attach labels and if applicable and store in safe area
Complete daily parts returns, label return parts with a pink label with vehicle registration number details.
Carry out checks every 2 days contracted out jobs with repairer
Completed Credit Card Machine audit weekly
Text customer to confirm ready for collection and physical close job
On collection run through work carried out clear down from TechTool
Direct customer to parking bay (number must be on key tag)
Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Driving license
Professional/Discretionary manner both in person and on telephone
Excellent customer service skills
Flexibility in approach to tasks
Able to liaise with staff and visitors at all levels
Good computer skills
