Test Engineer required by my client, who is a leading manufacturer of electronic components and sub - assemblies into the bespoke engineering sector.

Main Duties:

• Development of new test programs and manufacture of test harnesses.
• Liaising with production engineers to enable inspection test standard times to be compiled, modified and implemented.
• Ensuring compliance to the company's registered Quality Management System.
• Conforming to electrical test methods to Company standard.
• Ensuring that the product conforms to test criteria, such as product specifications, drawings and acceptance test procedures.
• Compiling and signing off final test result sheets on the company's product range.
• Adhering to all company Health and Safety disciplines.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Educated to minimum ONC or equivalent qualification Electronic / Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and delegate.
• A background within a similar position gained within an electro - mechanical manufacturing or equivalent environment.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.
• The ability to to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to use a microscope or magnifier for fine detail work
