Logistics Lineside (Production) Project Coordinator

An interesting position for a Logistics Lineside Project Coordinator has become available working with an important automotive manufacturing company who are global leaders in their field based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Working on a 12 month FTC you will be responsible for ensuring key timelines are achieved, supporting innovative and cost down themes to provide uninterrupted and JIT supply to production areas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support activities to design future 'Best Service' levels for Internal Logistics to support all production areas.
  • Ensure uninterrupted, minimised and JIT parts supply the business's production areas.
  • Prepare space calculations, capacity assessments, revised layouts and delivery flows by utilising new area as DCC.
  • Liaise with Production Constitution Innovation project teams to ensure all business critical time lines are achieved.
  • Identify and realise cost down opportunities within future line side operating model.
  • Support large scale project implementation with multiple work streams of activity.

To be considered for the position of Logistics Lineside Project Coordinator you must:

  • Able to demonstrate a high level of Logistics Project Management skills including systems and process / design simulation

  • Ability to analyse and interpret multiple data sources as well as summarise and report findings in a clear and logical manner

  • Experience in investigating, analysing and problem solving and to implement appropriate countermeasures

  • The ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring excellent attention to detail and a positive 'Can do' Attitude

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal

  • Have experience of working with manufacturing Parts Lists and Bill of Materials (or similar)

  • Key skills in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel / PowerPoint)

The following would be an advantage:

  • Demonstrate large scale project skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Full Driving Licence / Valid Passport

  • CILT Diploma or Similar
