Profile

There is a need for a Software Engineer to join the development team and be involved in the design and development of company products.

Duties

• Implement software design in to fulfil project requirements in accordance with the company Business Management Process, in particularly the software development process section
• Design of software as required ensuring it meets the requirements, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Implement informal and formal software testing as required ensuring it meets the requirements, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Interact with customers as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep informed of relevant technical and security standards and requirements.
• Liaise with other development teams and other departments where necessary to ensure the work is followed through to the required standard and timelines.

Experience and Qualifications

• Knowledge of C++ programming language.
• Knowledge of Qt cross-platform SDK.
• An understanding of the factors affecting software performance, and the ability to design and write code that is maintainable, extensible and efficient.
• Knowledge of MS Windows OS.
