Salary- £40-48,000 neg (Company Car, Laptop and Phone)

Location - UK - Hampshire / West Sussex

Working Hours - 40hours per week Mon-Fri (Overtime Available) - Excellent Holiday Entitlement

Our client is a leading and rapidly expanding company within the utilities and construction sector looking to take a new Project Managers, to spread the workload in the ever growing company. A fantastic opportunity to join one of the fastest growing utility companies in the UK.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the running of 3-5 projects at any one time. Travelling from site to site across the UK ensuring allocated projects are completed within budget performance requirements and the time frame given. Assisting the management of teams varying in size on primarily residential builds and street works construction.

Responsibilities

Responsible for project safety, cost and quality

• Prepare Work Instructions, Risk Assessments & Method Statements
• Liaise with Local Authorities regarding street works
• Procure and control project materials
• Provide monthly project reports and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Liaise with DNO's & iDNO's to complete final connections
• Liaise with and support both the client and the team to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

Candidate must be able to manage teams, multiple projects and liaise customers/clients confidently

Previous Experience of working within:

• Civil industry
• Electrical engineering
• Distribution environment
• Cable laying
• Cable jointing
• Switchgear installation

Qualifications:

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering e.g. C&G, ONC, HNC & Degree (equivalent

Engineering qualifications may be considered)

• Problem solver and solution provider
• Ability to work effectively within a team, with good communication skills
