Job Role

To deliver the manufacturing schedule for designated planning horizons, maximising efficiency and material availability. Liaises with Customer Service to minimise shortages and manages stock levels.

To continuously challenge, innovate and improve the department performance.

Duties

• To extract demand and translate into the agreed plan format. To ensure that the plan is updated and maintained by all parties until completion.
• To schedule the production plan to maximise OEE and customer service within the constraints of dry goods and wine availability.
• To translate the budgeted production rates and the agreed plans into production targets, and to ensure that these are communicated throughout production.
• To understand and agree with the manufacturing management team the demonstrated capability within production and to ensure that this is integrated within the wider planning process.
• To manage the communication between all interested parties regarding plan completion and running order.
• To understand the availability of all dry goods for the production plan.
• Create, maintain & manage the Manufacturing schedule in minutes, hours & days within the firm planned periods.

Experience and Qualifications

• MRP (preferably JDE)
• Knowledge and understanding of Red Prairie
• Production planning, scheduling and forecasting
