Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Based in Oxford

You will be required to work a shift pattern

My client, a leading manufacturing company require a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join their Maintenance Team.

Your duties will include ensuring minimum plant downtime and subsequent optimisation of plant performance. This will include maintenance and repair of plant equipment and general plant and buildings along with carrying out planned preventative maintenance schedules and plant modifications.

Applicants will have a recognized engineering qualification or served a formal engineering apprenticeship. Previous experience as a maintenance engineer on high volume production machinery is essential together with experience of the following:

• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience of maintaining packaging equipment / conveyors
• Electrical Maintenance / Fault Finding / Installation
• Mechanical Maintenance
• General Facilities / Building Maintenance
• Maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC / Industrial Control Systems
