Trainee Engineer

Trainee Engineer - Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, BEng or equivalent experience.

£19,000 - £25,000 per annum + Company Car + Excellent Benefits.

Ideally, you will be based in the Manchester/ Stoke Area- M6 Coridoor

This opportunity for a Trainee Engineer is a hands-on engineering role so if you have a practical interest in repairing and fixing things such as cars or motorbikes etc it will be seen as an advantage.

One of the world's largest manufacturers of CNC Machine Tooling Equipment require a Trainee Engineer to join their expanding team.

After a structured training programme, your main job role will be visiting customer sites throughout a specified geographical area and installing, servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical / electrical repair work on my client's range of CNC Punch Press and Press Brake machinery and associated CNC equipment.

Trainee Engineer Job purpose:

• Installation of equipment at customers' sites in the UK
• Training customer in operation, maintenance and safety aspects
• Regular routine service of machines and associated equipment
• Diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns
• Promote tooling sales and sales of maintenance contracts
• Promote sales of machine tools and associated equipment

Key attributes required:

• A suitable engineering qualification
• Understanding of electrical / electronic / hydraulic and mechanical drawings and systems
• Enthusiastic and self- motivated
• Smart and professional presentation
• Ability to work alone and under pressure
• Ability to communicate in all situations at all levels of an organisation
• Full UK driving licence
