Job Title: Credit Controller
Salary: £25,000k PA
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Availability: Immediate Requirement
This main responsibilities are:
- Credit Control
- Responsible for the collection of cash in accordance with agreed client payment terms.
- Management and control of the client ledger and aged debtors list, accurately cash matching the payments received.
- Communicating with clients through telephone, letters and email to establish payment date, or raise queries.
- Negotiating re-payment of accounts where appropriate in line with company policy.
- Communicating internally with Sales and Consultants to ensure queries affecting payment are resolved.
- Accurately documenting communications and outline issues on the Salesforce system.
- Entering and ensuring 100% accuracy for all bank postings for all accounts.
- Input of invoices and expenses.
- Credit checking new clients.
- Escalation to the Financial Controller in relation to matters outside of own remit for direction and/or resolution.
- Dating of credit checks once completed.
- Maintenance of the remittance files.
- General filing of finance documentation.
- Assisting with various administrative tasks associated with the standard monthly procedures and the wider company as directed by the Financial Controller.

- Analytical and problem solving abilities
- Good at multi-tasking
- Exceptional organisational skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Previous Credit Control experience.
- Commercial Awareness.
- Experience of use of Salesforce and financial Automation software.
- Competence in Microsoft Office products, XL and accounting software programmes.
