HGV Mechanic

position description

We are currently recruiting for an HGV / Mechanic to carry out work on a range of vehicles from commercial to small vans

Duties Will involve (but are not limited to):

6 weekly inspections

Preventative maintenance checks

Services

Fault diagnostics

MOT Preparations

Engine, Gearbox, Transmission, Drive Train & Clutch Work

Associated paperwork reports & Administration

Must be reliable, trustworthy, literate and able to work on your own initiative

Previous experience is essential along with a qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Vehicle maintenance

Rates of pay depend on Qualifications & Experience
